Located in the first of the island's three villages, Ballynacallagh, Dursey Cottage is the ideal getaway for those looking for a quiet holiday. No shops or bars and just two permanent residents on the island lends itself to a truly unique holiday experience.
Leaving your car on the mainland, the cable car will take you over over on the six to seven minute crossing.
The cable car will take you back across where your car is parked leaving you able to explore Beara.
The island does have a minibus service which can take you along the island. It is advisable to call to check availability though.
