The Eyeries Festival runs every July in the beautiful village of Eyeries, and attacts internationally renowned artists and also fosters local unique talents against a backdrop which showcases our picturesque village and surrounding areas. In a nutshell it is a celebration of all that we have and enjoy. The programme strives to provide events and activities that appeal to the full range of ages and tastes and is predominantly free for attendees, only two of the forty plus events are ticketed and kept to the lowest fee possible.

Beara Composer David Harmax (some of us know him as David Geraghty!) will outline his journey to becoming a film and concert composer. He'll talk about the process of composing music as an example of how to turn ideas into somethings! He will also discuss his varied approaches to composing for screen as well as for the concert stage and will demonstrate his compositional process, the technology he uses, and the organic nature of composing music for many varied medium.
With his relaxed and familiar approach, David will perform some of his own works as well as use visual media to every musical interest.
