The 2019 Women’s World Day of Prayer will take place at St Michael’s Church, Bere Island at 7.30pm. A ferry will leave Castletownbere at 6.30pm and return at 9.30pm. Transport will be provided from the ferry to the church. This year’s prayer service is prepared by the women of Slovenia.
GAA Pitch, Rerrin
The Bere Island parkrun takes place every Saturday at 9.30am from the GAA Pitch, Rerrin. For those travelling in from the mainland, a ferry leaves Castletownbere at 9am, with a shuttle bus service to the startline of the parkrun. The ferry returns to Castletownbere at 11.15am.
