Sunday 14th July
To celebrate the French community that have chosen to make Kenmare their home, Kenmare town hosts a celebration of the French National day. A little bit of France comes to the Wild Atlantic Way! The whole community comes together to play some Pétanque and sample some great French inspired food and drink. The Square is transformed into a French quarter where an abundance of music, fun and food can be found. Anyone hoping to challenge the previous winners of the Kenmare Pétanque tournament can join in on 'training days' in the square on Saturday evenings throughout June and July.
The Sheen Falls lodge will also host a tasting menu of French inspired food and accompanying wines.
The road winds ahead toward another destination, another adventure. Through rock and rush, from sea to sky, let Beara take you on a voyage of discovery.
