We are on the Wild Atlantic Way and there is lots to do and see, and plenty of beautiful walks. Bere Island is part of the Beara Way There is also cycling, swimming and diving. Bere Island has so much history including Lonehort Fort and Martello Towers. We also cater for campers and we also offer bicycle hire. We are open all year round.
Murphys Ferry
Licenced Passenger and Car Ferry operating daily service to Bere Island. Departing from Pontoon (near golf club) just outside Castletownbere arriving in Lawrence Cove Bere Island. Open all year around. Please check out our summer and winter timetables.
