Bonane Visitor and Tourist Information - Food, accommodation, things to do and more in Bonane on the Ring of Beara

The Sheen Valley is located on the Beara Peninsula in the south west of Ireland. It is 80 square kilometres of breath-taking beauty and fascinating history. The valley stretches from the picturesque town of Kenmare in Co. Kerry to the Caha pass which leads through the Kerry tunnels to Glengarriff in Co. Cork. The valley has one of the greatest concentrations of historical and prehistoric monuments in Western Europe. A network of scenic walks and cycling routes throughout the valley take in many of these unique sites. Within the Sheen Valley Heritage Area there are many exciting places to visit.
